Weird coloration after molting of Grammostola pulchra

I still don't know what's going on with her but I'm glad that she has still her great appetite after molting. She seems hungrier than my Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens :lol:

Mine is molting now! After one year and two months since last molt and 3 months from she started to refuse food.

I'm making a timelapse video of the process, and I can confirm that while molting, the old exoskeleton turned brownish, a lot, like if the old exoskeleton was oxidizing.

I'll post the photographs and the timelapse as soon as she finishes.

I'm not disturbing the T while filming the timelapse, it's being recorded at 2 lumens and high iso settings, so there is not going to be any superhigh res timelapse πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Finally molted!!! The above photograph was taken 2 hours ago.

She has gave me a perfect molt too so I could make a fake tarantula to put it on the wall

As I staded before after a molt they are jet black, with a more clear (soft) exoskeleton.

Perfect molt, I had the opportunity to take the exuvia and is almost perfect.
