Webbing?

i've had my A.Avic for about 2 weeks and it has yet to construct a web anywhere in the 5 gallon enclosure. is this normal for it to take a while or what is the deal? it has climbing space and definitely could attach a web to the branch and leaves i provided in the enclosure.

I have one adut avic and have had it a few years. Other then her molting I never see any webbing. She's always ate well and grown well. Some just don't web as much as others.

My A. metallica only webs up when he's getting ready to molt. Other than that, nope.

so it sounds like so far, you guys only encounter webs at the time of molting. makes a bit more sense to me since i'm assuming he'll probably do the same.

All of my A. avics have webbed, but in some cases, when they are rehoused or their webbing is disturbed, it can take up to a couple of months for them to rebuild the webbing.
