Would watercress be ok to put into a tank to grow under carefull eye watch its not hard to grow and would look great in the corner or somthing whats your view??
Personally I think live plants enhance the life of any living critter, especially T's, just like it does ours. Since Watercress is edible for humans I see no reasons why it would harm your T.
It would be a great addition. Live plants help increase the humidity of a cage and would be really good for arboreals or other spiders with increased humidity needs.
Watercress sounds like a type of plant that would require a high amount of water to thrive. A lot of tarantula varieties are averse to moist conditions, so if you keep a water loving plant alive in a red-knee's cage, you'll probably find the red knee clinging to the ceiling, trying to get away from the damp earth.
Also, the constant moisture around a plant can create moldy conditions which aren't healthy to tarantulas. I suppose if you have a tarantula that likes high humidity and you're careful about watching for mold, it could be ok.
