wanted rhinocerous beetle ????

i live in new jersey usa,can i buy a large rhino beetle ? ive owned many insects,are they for sale ? where to find ? thanks !!!

Dynastes tityus and a Xyloryctes are native to your state but I don't know where you'd find either to buy at this time of year.

To be honest, If I wanted a Rhino Beetle I would just go all out and raise them from larvae, if you catch them in the wild, you're not sure how long it would live. Could be a few months, could be a few hours. Plus the experience of raising the larvae sounds fun, but there again. You generally need to find the right time of year to buy either of them.
