Virginia Wolf Spider

Does anyone know the lifespan of a Virginia wolf spider? A friends co-worker caught one for me and if they have a very short life span I may just let it go in the park, however if they live for a decent amount of time I'll keep it as captive.

They are known to live for at least a year if not 3. Raise them yourself and find out. 1-800-Spider-1 . Don't call that number...

There are a lot of wolf spiders where I live, they're abunden and scare the crap out of me as they pop up out of the lawn during the day time and bask in the sun during morning hours...god there's that chill running through my back again...
