Making a post just because it’s interesting. My female vinegaroon is now on her 3rd clutch of eggs - first was fertile with offspring and 2nd was sterile (assuming this will be the same). I’ve read that they only lay one clutch in a lifetime, but she’s still going strong. Fingers crossed for her. Just thought it’s pretty cool! Horrible pics.

About 30. She was buried underground for a while, and I was shocked to see her with a bunch of white babies on her back one day (I had her for an entire year at that point, so she must have had an interaction with a male before I bought her at an expo). By the time they dispersed from her and I started separating them, there were about 15. I tried my best to read up and care for them, but they would die off randomly… 2 of them survived from the whole litter. I still have them - they’re about 3 years old now, and basically still the same size as they were initially lol. It’s actually so crazy to me how little info there is online about their husbandry. Was really neat to watch their social interactions with mom and with each other. First photo is right before I separated them 3 years ago (sharing a cricket leg that the mom gave to them - so cool to watch!), second photo from tonight.
