I use super worms for my T (because any type of roaches are illegal in Canada ) but supers are great feeders, very thin exoskeleton and nice and meaty insides (their like the sausage of the bug world), the get relatively big too if you keep them well fed. I would say 2-3 supers would = 1 dubia
After looking through everything, I am coming to the conclusion that until something is shown otherwise, it seems nutritional information is much like splitting hairs, unless your goal is to push moisture into your pet. Therefore, I agree weight, or most usable guts, as a best baseline factor for tracking across the board.
I can see how worms, and dubias, would have far more gut than crickets, but other roaches unless very large, probably not alot more. But ,I will bet more.
So maybe something like:
Cricket: 1
X roach of 'same' size (little larger I'm thinking), 2
X worm of 'same' size (little larger), 3
Dubia: 4
But, abandoning some sort of point system is probably a good idea, I might go nuts splitting the hairs of the different size of feeders! (Edit; Actually its not like I'm doing that now, I just keep track of what they eat not the size, and just size appropriately when I feed, so maybe this will work)
Nonetheless, I've learned something today so, rock on!
