It should be very easy. Males pectines also overlap where as females have a gap.

Probaly around I6 and 7... I only say this because out of all my recently molted I5's, I saw female, which is discouraging since I need a male.. so I don't know if they difference is just to small to see how, the molts may help but I don't have a magnifying glass or microscope.... but you probaly can at I5, if you have an old flat bed scanner handy.
