Hey. I need some info/advice, please.

I have 3 female Halloween Hissers. All adult sized. As of last night, one is staying out in the open with a large white mass (about 1/4 of its body length) protruding from its rear.

She still walks. Antennae move. Seems to drink? But that mass she’s dragging doesn’t look right. Photo shows a dab of substrate stuck to it.

Basic online info suggests a severe issue with its digestive or reproductive system, with a recommendation for possible humane euthanasia.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

After a quick Google it says genital prolapse 🤷🏻‍♀️. I don't keep or like roaches but this is quite strange so I has to go look haha.
I thought at first giving birth but that thing hanging out is way too big to be baby's.
I did find the prolapse thing on Reddit so take it with a pinch if salt but it may give you a starting place to Google yourself. Gl to both of you.

I’ve seen it before but fed the roach off so I don’t know if they can recover from it.
When I was reading about it it says not but all the other roaches I saw with it were just laid there it's very interesting she's still wandering about like nothings wrong.

Well, she’s still moving around. I have no idea if she’s in pain/suffering - so I think all I can do is let Nature run its course and observe what’s happening?
It seems there’s not much info on health issues for Hissers.
Will post updates.

See how long she lives I guess. Let nature be nature.
