Yeah, I think having weighed up my options, now I either buy sexed females or slings (the only TRULY unsexed spiders) unless, of course I require a male of that species, I think I have just learned to be more patient and wait to buy the females, as I always luck out an end up with males by being in a hurry to get AF's now I actually enjoy watching them grow as well.
I don't know, except for a few exception I've been always lucky with at least one sling turning out female even. And usually I buy only 1-3 slings of a species. I don't do bulk hauls ;)

Nice T! But, how do you know that it's gravid?
She was sold as "gravid", I should really have said "suspected gravid" as you can never be 100%, her abdomen is absolutely ENORMOUS though, the video doesn't quite do her justice, also I've noticed when they are that big from being premoult they usually look battered/ready for a moult and she surprisingly looks pretty fresh, I/the seller could be wrong, but they are supposedly notoriously hard to get to drop a sac as well, so if she doesn't drop I perhaps will never know unfortunately.

Yeah that's also my exact policy! 3 slings and normally at least 1 female, also if you lose any, all is not lost.

Here's a quick picture whilst she is on a mission, just for an idea of how big she is

Massive T. What I do like a lot about the whole ordeal, is the size of tank and amount of substrate you've provided for her. It's probably overkill, but she'll appreciate it nevertheless I recon...

Yeah I wouldn't normally go for such a large enclosure for a spider her size, it's just I've been advised it can increase the chance of them dropping a sac if they have a decent sized enclosure
