Wow, thats good to know Jodi! We cant get good fish in W Tx, its all been frozen too long, and near tasteless. I wouldnt mind eating sushi there, cause I dont know when the next time Ill get to have it is. Especially since Im soon moving to an even smaller town, even further west.

Guess we have to consider time, location, and number of people. Seems that it has to be in the evening for those that are working. I will have 5 people with me. Kids have to be accomodated.
Its always great to be in someone's house, but then the hosts are always put out. I for one would like to see Debby and Scott kicking back with us! I suggested the restaurant because it offered the separate rooms and lots of us seem to like sushi. BUT a BBQ is ALWAYS a good choice.

Personally, I think the restuarant is a better choice, a lot easier, no hassle for anyone. Let the other guys do the shopping cooking and cleaning and we kick back and relax. I'm thinking about asking Robert's TA to supervise the kids room too. This place, EAST is a real NY institution, not a tourist trap, a place where japanese go, a nice place for an out of towner to see real NY, I think Sky would enjoy. And Terri, this time I'll get the exact location of the desert place, unless we want to head down to soho for the rice pudding bar.

Yes, I said rice pudding bar, we have it all here in NY.

I have to say now I prefer the restaurant too for selfish reasons.. my team is now going to have a BBQ that same day as well and I'd like to go to both things so I would definitely prefer something in the evening. I am cool with either though. Love Scott & Debby's BBQ's and would love to see everyone else karaoke.

I dont know what is going on with our driving plans. Im about 2 hours upstate, and I think taking the train might be more trouble than its worth. Is there a parking garage close? Or could we drive down then carpool with someone. Im a bit worried leaving my truck in the city, so where would it be safe?

Absolutely! You can come into Queens and leave the truck here. It's only about and extra 20 min drive from Manhattan. Give me a buzz Sky and I'll give you directions.

But I tried to get on AB to check the restaurant and it wasn't loading up. And naturally, I don't have anyone's numbers since my cell phone self-destructed.
