Comparitive pics of Hadrurus carapace:


1. H. arizonensis - light patch extends to median eyes

2. H. a. pallidus - light carapace with dark crescent moon or dark patch across the median eyes

3. H. spadix - completely melanic, no light rim

4. H. obscurus - dark form: carapace has a light rim; light form: light patch extends to lateral eyes but never extends to median eyes.

5. H. anzaborrego - dark "V" extends from median eyes to lateral eyes. There are both dark and light forms.
