I have a 6" T. blondi and a 3" G. pulchripes, and neither seem to be eating. The G. molted but has not taken food in about 3 weeks; the blondi has not molted but hasn't taken food in probably 5-6 weeks. Any reason why this might be happening? I'm using G. portentosa for feeding. Prior to these periods, both had readily taken them.

Andrew, No experience feeding hissers to my t's but others do well with that so that should not be a problem. How warm are you keeping them? If the temps drop out of the 70's they may go off feed. My largest Theraphosa "burgundy" also had a fairly long premolt period refusing to eat in her last two molts. I'm sure you already know to keep the Theraphosas on the moist side but not extremely damp or wet. Hope things work out for you. :) Terry
