I get it. I had a pool growing up and no matter if it was broad daylight or dark I always had this fear a shark would pop up anytime. I saw a tv show as a kid where this happened, the guy could shape shift into any animal he wanted, messed me up for life. Much worse then the giant Jaws shark at Universal studios when I was a kid.
OMG!!!!!! I went on that ride 'Jaws' with my girlfriend at the time back in mid 90's, I think 97.

She had to beg me to get on that ride. I was once again the lucky smuck that got the outside seat by the water. Also the side of the boat the shark came up out of the water from in the enclosed boathouse.

All I remember is that giant mouth close to me and me screaming bloody murder, cussing and pressing so hard against everyone else next to me I was squishing them.

In that moment I felt that fear of being helpless and eaten alive with no way to escape or fight back. It was sooo very real even though we all knew it was a fake shark.

When the ride was over I was sweating and humiliated. Apparently I was the only one that scared. My you know what of a girlfriend kept carrying on about it like it was cute to her or something. The temptation to......

Anyways.......oh hell yes I know the Jaw's ride all too well. When Universal removed it I actually celebrated, as stupid as that sounds.

What would you call someone who really likes the look? Cause every pic I ever see of someone saying EWWE, and that it “triggers” them, I really like it. It’s pretty.

I’m pro all the way 😂 untryptophobia

To me it's just stunning to look at it. All the details, the eyes, the fangs.

What i did was scaring myself with a molt placed somewhere. I saw it in the corner and my brain played the "oh shit it escaped" trick on me.

I think the shark in the pool ist pretty common and normal, like walking on the sidways and get to there before the cars behind you reach out. Or more precisely, the call of the void.

Or the patterns in the floor, if you step in the Line u ded.

Common Stuff most of US expirience.

Nope. Molts don't bother me at all. But people at my workplace are a little bit creeped out when I bring them over ;)

I'm fascinated by molts. There's just something about those holes to me. How the "new" T used to be inside them all.
