True spider male question

I just had a question regarding MM true spiders. Do they go off exploring like MM tarantulas do for a mate?
I'm mainly thinking about widows.

Oh yaah, LOL! Our male H. lenta was going craaazy around the beginning of the "mating season". Heck, he wouldn't even burrow or anything. He just wanted to mate and that's it, besides eat.. of course! We never keep our males too long. I feel bad because I feel as if we are interfering with a part of nature's course; it's only natural for the males to wander around searching for a mate even with True Spiders. Our yard is packed FULL of male species at the moment. LOL!

We own a female widow, not a male but I can most def. bet widows wander as well, I love widows! SOO neat! =)
