I just got some slings of this species, i think they're awesome looking specially cause of their blue color and it looks a bit like an e murinus. These are very skittish, notorious hair kickers and they like it more on the dry side.

Thank you.. That's the info I was looking for.
I really like how they look but, getting hairs flung at me Every time I do look. Doesn't sound to great.
So thank you for the info, I will pass on this spider tho.
I can stand genic types that usually stand their ground.

I'm telling you right off the bat: Most offered are Homoeomma sp. "blue" Peru2 actually. If you are going to get one, the best advice I can give you is to have a spermathecae pic.

Also, neither of those two species really kicks hair at all. They can, but they're far more inclined to threat-pose, slap and bite than use them. Thrixopelma spp. are more on the defensive side from my experience.

True Thrixopelma lagunas are beautiful just like every other Thrixopelma. But as storm as stated the true lagunas are rare and sometimes others are wrongly sold as Thrixopelma lagunas. I bought a true lagunas last September/October it's only around 1/2" but its a great eater, easy and hardy also as of now it's not kicked hair or been skittish it's pretty well behaved the only downside is for a tiny sling they are a little expensive but worth it

This changes things.. More defensive is better for me.
And I can't get a spermathecae due to the fact it's a sling art a store...

T. pruriens ("Peruvian Green Velvet" often in the trade) is a good example of their general behavior. Most are skittish and quick to bite, though some are total sweethearts. Hit and miss.

Since it is nearly impossible to tell at this point if it is a true Trix lagunas or not due to it being a sling.
I suppose that the behavior and appearance are nearly identical in the imposter being sold as Trix lagunas; correct ??
