Is there a distinictive way to tell male from female for a Trinidad Chevron without having a molt to sex from? I read in the Marshall book (Tarantulas and other Arachnids) that the males had a slightly different look, but I was hoping for pictures to help with a comparison.
I saw a nice size one last night (around 4") that was a beautiful mossy green, and would like to know if it is more likely a male or female. It didn't have the lightning bolt markings on the legs, but was a more uniform color throughout.
A good friend is buying the tarantula and would like very much to have a female. I'd like to provide her as much information as possible.
Any help/information would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Ralph
