Will I be able to feed a trapdoor spider dubia roaches? I am just wondering because some people say they need food that is constantly moving like crickets. And I find crickets very annoying.

Dubia like to burrow, I'd say crickets would be less annoying in this scenario.

I haven't used Dubai for my trapdoor, mainly cause they burrow and that maybe a problem for your trapdoor trying to find it, locusts/crickets are fine though.

Crickets definitely work best, but I use lobster roaches to vary the diet. Sometimes, the roaches go down real quick just like crickets, but if your trapdoor has a lot of vegetation on it's lid/at it's lid used for feeling prey, the roach may get under those... but this happens in the wild. It will get curious, move about, and the smack shall be laid down upon it.

Dubia are almost useless unless you are using a flush substrate that is tough to burrow in... like clay. I have seen people use dubia for Bothriocytrum sp. - seems to be better for them because of their type of lid.

I let my trapdoor finish her burrow, then I let it air dry for a week, and removed her and the substrate in in big piece, then transferred it to a larger container, and filled around with pure clay, so nothing could burrow to escape. About four-five inches from her door, I'll place a piece of fruit to lure the crickets closer, the commotion of all of them feeding in a group definitely gets a trapdoor's attention.
