You shouldn't have let him get that close to your nose.

That's a really good looking tokay. I love the lightish ones. It's just another example of a gorgeous animal that's seen as next to worthless only because it's common in the market. Meanwhile, there's no shortage of drab, hyperexpensive reptiles to 'invest' in.

Totally agree with you. Tokays are my all time favorite herp.
I have a pair with two eggs glued to the glass, and a lone male that's an absolute monster, that I'm looking for a nice looking female for, I've found two but don't have the money to buy them at the moment.

Oh, they can draw blood easily. I just like to avoid being bit because I don't feel like walking around for 1/2 an hour with a lizard attached to my hand lol.

I can see why that would be inconvenient, especially if you were late for work, or if you needed to go to the bathroom

I had a male & female cohabitating for over 5 years. If you do, expect youngins'. I wouldn't keep two males together though.
