I got a P. regalis communal and I thought about it and came to the conclusion that I'm probably not ready nor do I think I want a communal of this magnitude. Plus the mess of the enclosure was driving me nuts and there would really be no viable way to clean it. Not to mention how I would feel if I ended up with less T's. Either way I felt the best option was to rehouse the buggers. I only really had these muggy deli cups but they'll do fine. Really just harder to get pictures of them or anything. It went well enough. Had some runners but none that made it too far. Overall a huge suscess and I think I'll be able to more so monitor each of them individually.
One already pooped.
The P. reduncus was always in stress curl when I saw it so I gave it a nice typical avic set up I figured since it spent a lot of time near the lid it would do best in this set up.
-My other new additions being an A. hentzi, A. bicoloratum, A. marianae, P. victorii, and a C. schmidti (gold).
All are pretty exciting for me, technically this is my first Avic if you don't count the Ex avic C. versicolor.
Disappointed has started his poopy journey of messing up my nice glass walls.
A. gen. looking quite leggy, he's always so pretty straight after a molt.
M. balfouri got all pissy at me when I went to feed it but now its dragging around it's food everywhere it goes.
Other than that, I'm probably going to refill some water dishes today and drop in some water for others. Since I live in a high humidity area the water doesn't evaporate quickly at all so I'm usually very careful with how much moisture I add.
