I received a shipment today, shortly before the trade, and it was not a pleasant one. I was super excited to get them, but my pretty girl (MF A hentzi) was a mess.
When I pulled out her container you could see through the tissue that something was not right. I was gathered my liquid bandaid, and was totally unprepared for what I saw. She had ruptured during shipment. Here is the link, do NOT click if you are easily nauseated. Im not, and it still sickened me.
Deeper into the box was the poor L difficus, all wound up in a death curl. It was slightly responsive, although just barely. It is in an ICU on some heat, hopefully it pulls through.
The male A hentzi is curled now, as well.
Its so sad. I was so excited to get this package, and it turned out horrible. Cross your fingers for my LD and little hentzi boy, please.

Oh my gosh :( I don't even know what to say... how terrible for you, and those poor Ts.

I hope whoever sent them, answers to this. Do you think it was a packing issue, or poor T health, or something else maybe?

I'm so sorry :( I hope the other two pull through for you..

Wow... I'm honestly at a loss for words here. I'm sorry for your losses hopefully that lasiodora pulls through. I would get in touch with whoever shipped them to you and let them know. Keep us all posted on the status of your lasiodora and good luck.

Yeah, it was completely depressing. Ive never felt that bad for a little thing in my life.
I am still waiting to hear from the guy I bought her from. I am sure he will rectify the situation, but it is still just sad.

Sorry for your loss. How was the packing? It might have been the post office's fault, not the shippers.

I'd like to know about the packing as well. Good packing would usually prevent this from happening.

The second one in the death curl has a chance I would think if it's from cold or dehydration but the other just doesn't look good at all.. :(

That sucks, I would have to say that the packing was not enough or they were overfed making it easier to rupture, but I could be wrong...so sorry for your loss!!

Never blame the post office, therphosids should always be packed for the worst scenarios possible.

In this case it could be poor packaging or prehaps they got hurt during packaging.

If it was the PO....not saying iy was at all (probally loose packing) the box would have to be very damaged somewhere!

Packaging seemed adequate. The box was not damaged in any way, the styrofoam wasnt even dented. All the others made it ok. I just dont know what the issue was.

Sometimes crap just happens. In these cases,(and I have had a few) I don't really blame the seller. Now obviously you are still entitled to a refund if that was a LAG package, but I have re bought Ts from sellers that sent me DOAs before. If I see the packing was good and there is still a DOA I chalk that up to bad luck. Still hard to look at though.

No, Im not blaming the seller. Nor the PO really. The packaging was fine, and the rest got here safely. Seems to have just been a fluke.
A bummer fluke. But a fluke.
