Admins note FYI.

Peru is a closed country and receipt of ANY animals from Peru without a permit is illegal and constitutes smuggling. Arachnoboards is strongly against and does not condone this behavior as it is detrimental to our hobby.

I think it's just the way things are done when you are actually legally sending and recieving something.

they are so beautiful.
I am a little confused, why the 2nd instar looked so different with the adult ones?

There are few scorpions that mirror they're adults coloration in the first few instars, thats just the way it goes. Similarly, the majority of scorpions will look differnt after molting also, because the exoskeleton hasn't hardened up. Again, thatts just the way it works.

If you really wanted to get technical you could argue the coloration as juveniles is something that helps them to avoid predators and belnd into they're enviroment while they are still trying to reach adulthood.

I suggest you surf around on the scorpion files website, where you will be able to educate yourself more in how juvenile scorpions differ from they're parents.
