Some say you can keep more than one corn in the tank as long as you feed them apart. So mabey you don't need more space! :p
Im not 100% sure on this, there are some conflicting caresheets, some say you can, some say it's best not to. Has anyone tried this?

Corn snakes are great starter snakes. I think 6' is a bit much for a corn, but there are probably plenty of females out there that are that size. Males seem to stay closer to the 4' range.
Actually, the males get larger than the females... it's likely any corn you see bigger than 4.5 feet is a male, and even then, corns approaching 6 feet are by far the exception and not the rule. The largest pure corns seem to be the Okeetee strain, but they're all so mixed these days, who knows...

Well that adds some welly to my beleif that its an Okeetee as it is now 5.5 foot.

As for keeping more than 1 in the tank, I wouldn't like to risk them breeding, as much as I love them I really wouldnt have a clue where to start with lots of little ones and as we have never had ours sexed it would be my luck to get one the opposit sex to ours.

I though they wouldn't breed unless you hibernate them? So as long as you keep them warm you won't get any breeding. Also most pet stores can tell you the sex of the snake. :)

ok another pic, perhaps this may help a bit more, ignore the dirty keyboard plz lol.

Looking at pics on sites etc, it looks very much like http://www.cornsnake.net/gallery/ok064.jpg
and
http://www.snakesandfrogs.com/scra/snakes/images/okateecornsnake1a.jpg

There is a pic of a carolina corn on http://www.freewebs.com/albinocornsnakes/mostcommoncoulormorph.htm which looks nothing at all like ours, perhaps the first pic isnt showing it too well, but he does have black on him.
I also found this site http://www.peaceriverherps.com/Cornsnakes.htm which says "Pure South Carolina locality corns, displaying the popular "Okeetee Corn" colors of rich red round blotches, outlined by thick black borders." Which sorta sounds like Carolina is a speces of corn while Okeetee is the colour pattern. Im really lost on it all, Tarantulas are deffinatly more my thing lol.
Either way he does have black rings around the red blotches

That is definitely a normal phase Corn Snake. Not an Okeetee, as they have much bolder red with very thick black bordering on the saddles.

Here's an example of a candy cane corn:

If you think Imegnixs_Cinder's corn looks anything like my candy cane, I'd like to know what you are smoking, because it must be some pretty good stuff. {D

By the way, I think your snake is a normal corn as well. I have one, and it's a very nice looking snake. Normal/Okeetee is the best look, IMO. Although I do have a soft spot for anything anery...it's like looking at a snake in black & white.

Maybe its my pics not being great I don't know, but he looks nothing like this to me, that pic is far too dull, he is much more a vivid orange and red like http://www.snakesandfrogs.com/scra/snakes/images/okateecornsnake1a.jpg
Is normal the same as common?
Also someone else said that if its reaching 6 foot its an okeetee
Can someone please post a link to a pic they mean, because the normal pics Im finding all look too dull and sort of blotchy colour to be like ours, ours starts of vivid orange and fades down the sides of his body to yellow to white underneath with black checks almost.
