I helped rehome an L. reclusa sling that a friend found in her home, and I'm curious if anyone has tips for raising these to adulthood. The sling isn't hatchling-tiny, but certainly isn't large - maybe 1/4" DLS currently? I set it up in a deli cup with some sticks for webbing, a thin layer of coco fiber, and some fruit flies for prey. However, I can't help but feel that the deli cup might be too large for the little guy. Would greatly appreciate any care tips you have - I'd love to raise him/her to adulthood!

Thanks!

The ones I've kept have been closer to or fully grown, but they're kept in roughly 3.5" Tupperware containers with a thin layer of substrate, a water dish and a hide. As for prey, they scavenge so I'll toss in a piece of mealworm, waxworm etc.

A vial with paper towels is all that is needed. They will eat prekilled or fruit flies.
