OBT's are fun! I have 3 of them so far! All are an inch or less at this point. I'll be getting another one soon though. That way I'll have 4. I figured that would be a good number. :)

Also on a side note: Yes I understand Aggressive vs. Defensive. General Population doesn't always understand the difference. Next order of business: I may have exaggerated a bit in the video to build up their "bad" nature. But really, what fun is there in not scaring people a little bit? :)

But honestly, I would totally look into an OBT at some point if you ever feel ready for it. They really are easy too take care of. And the DON'T die!!! Some of my favorite T's! But I'm actually very drawn to Africian Baboons for some reason. :?

There's a difference between misinformation and scaring people. Getting envenomated by P.murinus is not "high/medically significant" as this would be a better classification for Phoneutria sp. or Androctonus sp. At worst, there could be an allergic reaction. And mentioning on youtube that this spider can kill the neighbor's dog could be a bad idea...

LOL. Probably. That part made me laugh though. But depending on the amount of cramping you may want to go to the hospital for pain pills or something of sorts.

It really is a little unfortunate when people exaggerate about the danger of tarantulas. We think it's funny, with all our affection for the things. But some people flat out hate them, and will take every word seriously. And then you just deepen their fear of tarantulas. I'm trying to show all of my family and friends the good side of my spider, so that maybe they won't think so badly of them. I've gotten four spider-haters to say it's cute so far, haha.

Agreed. :D

As a side note, my OBT has been with me from small Juvie to large Juvie and seems very relaxed. Not the demonic fang beast I was expecting at all! Maybe when it's older?? :?

IMO OBT's are great. If people are careful, I don't see why they can't get them early in their keeping. :)
