Tiny Beetle ID?

Im not even sure if this is a beetle, but it looks kinda like one. Perhaps someone has seen one before and knows what it is. This picture is 2mm tall. This is 60x magnification- taken with my crappy toy microscope. I didnt have any slides, so I stuck it to a piece of scotch tape.
A friend of mine told me its a Cimex lectularius but I dont think so.

IMO it looks to be some sort of dermestid beetle.

Thanks for the help, I found Varied Carpet Beetle, Anthrenus verbasci. It says the pattern varies, but this is pretty close to the other pics I found with GIS.

Hmm not sure if I agree on specie but th genus looks right,

Definitely a carpet beetle of some sort. Maybe a buffalo carpet beetle?
