There seems to be quite limited information available about thrixopelma species, certainly for T.pruriens.

Can anyone advise as to what their growth rate is like?

Found in arid regions of northern Chile and Peru, its natural environment is one of the driest areas globally. Temperatures in its habitat range from 12°C to 29°C (54°F to 85°F). It is a terrestrial species that prefers digging burrows under bark. The species is docile but skittish and prone to kicking urticating hairs when provoked. Also the venom of Thrixopelma pruriens has garnered significant attention for its potential medical applications. Growth rate I'd say medium.

Mine grew pretty quickly, with a strong appetite. I lost it unexpectedly at a little over an inch due to I think a sucking stomach issue. I kept it just a tiny bit moist as a sling, then dried it out a bit as it grew.
