Thoughts on enclosure for Caribena or Avicularia species sling

How appropriate would this 3”x3”x6” enclosure be for a Caribena or Avicularia species sling? Most slings of these genus that I’ve found available are 1/2”-1” in size.
I’ve been considering getting my first arboreal t, but am very much still in the research phase. I run a tower fan facing my spider corner to keep air moving 24/7, but I know ventilation is a big concern for these species when they’re small.
Worst case I’ll get a young jumping spider for it like its previous resident, but would like to try something different!
Thank you in advance!

Too large- put it in a deli cup or Thorton vial

No need to use a fan if the box is well ventilated

Just make sure it can’t get through the vent holes. I start mine in a 4oz or 16oz cup then move to a 32oz cup when they’re around 1”

Welcome to AB

Since you are wanting to get a C. versicolor read the Avic guide/notes below via the link.

I’ve read through that, thank you! It is very, very helpful. I think I’m psyching myself out about it since there are so many “help, my avic/C. versicolor is dying” posts here and in the Facebook groups I follow. Kind of holding off until I feel a bit more confident in myself.

Thank you!
The holes are very small on the enclosure (I’ve used them for a couple of my jumping spider slings who have since outgrown them).
This is helpful, though, for when I do work up the nerve to get one!
