sometime. My juv. Vinnie is able to catch them with relative ease and smoosh em not shortly after, but dang they put up quite a fight

Since this thread has already been necro'd... I think OPs feeling is pretty common. It's fascinating watching my inverts hunt and eat, and I'm a vegetarian lol. Whenever crickets try to escape I chase them down and they're the first to be food .

I'm pretty certain the vast majority of tarantula/spider/centipede/arachnid keepers wouldn't have their pets if they where vegetarians.

Oh haha I see, and I agree. Millipedes are cool but they aren't nearly as interesting to me as my predators.

Watching my jumping spiders hunt flies and crickets is very entertaining and cathartic for me. They are just so serious about it and they stalk and hunt like a cat. Watching them plan an attack, move sometimes multiple times and then pounce and succesfully grab prey never gets old.
