my parabuthus used to just push my forceps away, and considering its tail is about the same thickness as that of the end of a cat tail, it wouldnt have much trouble piercing your skin, let alone pushing the forceps away

i remember Eric saying that his sprayed more often just after hardening (post moult) and at high temperatures

Yeah, Urodacus spp. are also reported to have this ability as well! I got bored with waiting years for my Para's to spray and got rid of the entire lot to make room for more Euscorpius and Diplocentrus spp.
