They're supposed to smell like a dead mouse right?

Thanks PTX, I only wish though. Sadly the little one was found dead in it's burrow. I don't know for sure what happened or if I could have done anything to change the outcome. On the good news side however it's sibling is still doing wonderfully and ventured out of it's burrow/web/bark/dirt hide yesterday night so I got to say hello.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that Sana. Definitely not the outcome we were all hoping for. :c

Oh, no..
I'm so sorry to hear.

I am glad the sibling is still going strong, though! :)

Thanks for the condolences guys. This is the first tarantula that I've lost since I started keeping them. I've always started with slings so even my first isn't up to old age yet and I was fortunate to find this forum early in my keeping so I have bypassed some mistakes. Add a dash of luck to that and I have lots of healthy, presumably happy, tarantulas.

Sorry for your loss Sana, I feel ya. I also recently lost one of my C. sp. "Hati hati" slings due to a bad molt, also my 1st T I lost since I started keeping, and I'm still bummed over the little fella.
