Just remember QUALITY pairings are a good thing to shoot for.
And quantity. {D
That's what I'm going for...just like you suggested to me earlier. Hopefully I have some eggsacs before too long. Oh, how is your gravid female? Is she due to make a sac soon? Post some pics...I'd love to see her again.

I have not even looked at her in a while. Maybe I should check on her when I get home. :) She might want another meal.

I did.....
I like them.
Next up is P. fortis. :)
Very cool! Let me know how that goes and when those slings are available!! I believe my OBT dropped her sac on Friday - Spider Day! - there's a large mass on the bottom of her tube web that she appears to be guarding and her abdomen is tiny now...I'm thinking OBT slings before too long!!

I'd say that its going to molt soon. Give it a chance to get used to its new space( may take a while as its wc). Post on Tarantula Questions and Discussions for more replies. Great looking T.

No. Not pre-molt. The legs do not turn black and shiny when its in pre-molt. Thats the abdomen that turns black.

The legs are just rubbed of its hair.

Being wild caught, You should be on the look out for mites and other parasites. Do you know if its male or female? not that it matters really.make sure your humidity is up there as well as the heat. BUT DO NOT GO OVER 90 degrees, you Can dry them out.

Like mentioned above, I would add more substrate to her enclosure. I would ditch the plate and get a new water dish as well. (unless thats a feeding tray or something? i unno )
