All of my T’s = $invaluable
None get gold cages or sold.

Any T I don’t yet have but want = the amount of my budget/space.
Keepin’ it simple.

I’ve seen the ad that is being referenced and thought it was absolutely outlandish myself, which led to checking out their other ads.
All are typically wildly priced, worded in such a way that is grandiose, and comes across as trying to impress folks with long winded, rambling descriptions, that would likely make most cautious buyers second guess risking a purchase.

I’ve inquired on several different formats trying to find someone who has purchased from them and have yet to get a response to any of the inquiries, which seems odd since the seller advertises many desirable species.

Cross referencing the name the ads are placed under to YouTube brings up videos of a young man that doesn’t instill much confidence.

Looked at this again and now I have questions..... I too know the ad referenced and the company's own self description on their profile on the site hosting the add is, and I quote:

...<company> is a social media company that posts educational/comedic content about various Tarantulas, insects and amphibians!
Not a breeder, dealer or vendor but a social media company posting an ad on one of the largest marketplaces. The fact if the animal sells or not probably doesn't matter. They're probably getting paid making short videos about a $10k tarantula somewhere....

people will pay what people will pay and if they have the dough...... I watched Nick Cage drop $9 grand on 3 monitors, but most of us are regular schlubs, we don't have that kind of play money. Then you have guys dropping $50 million on a Ferrari 250 GTO (if I had the money I would too) so it's just what level makes you say "no way".
Yes, dealers do bulk buys to ease that (which helps us all). Typically you hear the discussions around the major shows. "Trying to arrange a shipment from the Middle East, anyone in?" type of thing, Typically, more than a single dealer can afford but 3 or 4 of them and it's good. So what makes that good for us? A) they get the species here for sale B) because of the bulk buys the pricing is cheaper. C) multiple dealers have them so there will be some price battling
if i hawhat Nick Cage had, no one would be having this discussion.

id have solved the tarantula problem.

id solve many problems. Do they ever? Those who have the means?

of course, those with such revenues dont have the same thought process as we do.

i get it though.

the shipping, import.

perhaps if original question was not aimed at such a high price, thi discussion would have had a different turn.

how many of us have a clean cash down to invest in such a risky transaction?

if i had the money to buy that tarantula, id buy land that had clean water source on it.

its all about goals, power and greed.
