Saw this tonight on IG and it got me worked up. I wish people researched more before getting a tarantula. To make it worse, the video was edited and played club music in the background; almost as if was made to be a "funny" video. I messaged the guy about the video and told him to add more substrate. Not in a condescending tone, out of pure concern for the tarantula.

People on social media make handling videos all the time too . Ontop of bad cages with too little room or substrate.

I used to sell quite a few T's on Facebook groups, this is the reason I stopped, didn't matter what you told the person care wise they wanted to do it there way, and would send pics like this saying they were fine.

I don't know what IG is and that's probably a good thing.

I scour Craigslist every now and then looking to score enclosures and T's at cheaper prices. It's difficult to look at the few ads I find as the photos are all like the death trap enclosure photo you attached.

Just yesterday I found two ads and the enclosures were horrible death traps. My immediate thought is to rescue them from these poop poor keepers followed by I want to message them and tear them a new rear-end

It's difficult to just go on there and look because it's always the same
