I have reached a significant milestone with breeding and managed to raise some Theraphosa blondi slings.

This was 4th attempt with the conditions being allowed to dry out a lot more then the 3 other attempts with other females.

Most of the eggs were bad like all other attempts but I do have 19 awaiting for their first proper moult (been tracking progress daily from 1.11.22). Darkening up nicely and so by the end of this month/beginning of December, looking forward to some nice new little furry friends.

Brachypelma baumgarteni breeding attempt #1
Both male (slapping and quivering) and female (drumming) when first put together. He lifted her and remained like that for a while but backed off and no insert attempted.

No aggression and they are both aware of each other now so hoping for a positive outcome on the next atrempt. 🤞

Lifetime breeding goal ✔
Theraphosa blondi now actually turning into proper slings and can officially add them to my Tarantula breeding success. Today is a very very very good day. 😊😊😊
