Another new addition (for future breeding), a large juvenile male Avicularia bicegoi. Apologies for the tissue, he shot behind the hide so not got any decent pics in his new home yet.

Who knows....the genus seems to be a bit of a mess atm. I don't have any variegata but have 4 or 5 "bicegoi"....all bought as that anyway.
My variegata there is still a juvie, but looks realllllllly similar. I know that isn’t the deciding factor in taxonomy, but wow they look identical.
What genus isn’t a mess, lol?

New addition today. OK, so not a spider but still worthy of being shared I reckon.

Say hello to Apollo (male double tail beta) homing in on some bloodworm.

Today was day 42 of egg sac from Pamphobeteus machalla. So I took it from angry mummy.

Really impressive sized sac (3 inches)
And nicely forming EWLs inside.
All been put in incubator now for final nymph and L1 stage.

Ok, so it's not a tarantula but a very rare event in the UK last night with being able to see the Northern Lights. Bucket list moment all from the comfort of a chair in my back garden!
