The Sordid Lives Of Avics (or, Pics Of The Latest Avic Breeding Loan!)

Hello!

So, today, i picked up Jeff a male avic, and long story short, i found out he was sexually mature, so I decided to get a quick mating session in before i send the T's off to New York.

So, all went well (=D), and here are some pics. As per usual, i didn't plan before hand to have a camera, so the pics suck, since i had 2 leggy beauties, getting busy, to watch...

so the pics were on the back burner, but you get the point.

so here we go!
Jeff -- $10 for an avic today, and (HOPEFULLY) you'll be getting 25 or 30 little ones in the future!

i never worry about mating avics. It's always pretty much the same. I hope the eggsac is fertile, and if it is, i may let her keep it till the end. Usually i pull them from the mother, but avics are really good about the whole thing, so who knows...

thats all in the future anyways.
but hopefully we'll be posting a "who wants avics?" thread :)

again, alot of the pics suck, since for most i had the flash off and the lights off, so... there you go.

anyways, on with the dirty pics!

i like this pic, because you can see a couple blurs around the legs -- its pretty fast sometimes!!!

by the way, the female is the one with the larger abdomen (just for those who weren't sure!)

This has to be some kind of record. I haven't even met the little bugger and he's already involved in a breeding project. Let's hope he ain't shooting blanks.

Nice Dave, so not to jinx anything or start thinking ahead too soon but can i get a couple if its successful? i dont have an avic yet, i gave her to my cousin the one i had he has her in ohio but i kinda miss her and i dont have an avic and its like a must have in every collect and i dont have one its pretty sad:rolleyes: but anywayz good luck with the project:D
