What species were they? I saw an adult and its wings were short, revealing a bit of the abdomen. But the shots were so quick and they didnt say what species they were?

I dont think you can view the show unless its on tv.

The roaches were not one of the "main" animals in the show, thats why they did not say their name.

I'm shocked so many people here havent watched it, it was an amazing series!

I thought it's illegal to post taped shows/music videos and post them on youtube, unless you made the video?

they said that there are 2 kinds of roaches, then the pede ate the other roach that lives on the cave wall, but the invert that the pede was eating was acctually a cricket.

If you have digital cable, you can watch PE on demand for free. This also allows you to rewind, pause etc...freakin love that show lol.

I'll bet they were either Byrsotria fumigata/rothi. That was a good show, is it really over?

I have the book of the series upstairs(and the DVD series downstairs!) and I just looked at the chapter on caves. It just says 'hundreds of cockroaches swarm over the guano in borneo'

So has anybody figured out what species those thousands of roaches are on that huge pile of bat droppings?
I just got the DVD and I cant beleive they didnt say what they were! But WOW what an amazing series!
