How did you care for the plings when they’re still small and fragile? I bought one a few months ago but it unexpectedly passed last week :( I’m getting another one and I want to do everything in my power to make sure I don’t lose this one also. Thx

Best advice I have for plings is to keep them WELL fed. Give them pre-killed prey the same size as them or larger and allow them to eat til they stop eating then take out the leftovers so it doesn’t rot.
do this weekly or every other week depending on how fast they thin out. you want to keep pedelings looking ballooned up during the pedeling stage, usually 1-3 molts or so until they reach the juvie stage where they are less fragile.

Also keep at least 1/4 to 1/2 of their substrate lightly damp at all times, provide a small water dish that’s kept full at all times, and make sure you have good ventilation to combat the moisture. So far i’m at a 100% success rate with raising ~50 pedelings of all different species using this method.
