This is my terrarium i've set up for my asian forest scorpion which I'll be ordering very soon! I would appreciate any advice or tips! especially any advice on how to keep humidity up, i've been misting it a couple times a day everyday and i've put water through the green tubes to the drainage layer but i'm not sure if that's enough. I am also very undecided on whether I should get a juvenile AFS as my first or a mature AFS. Any thoughts?

Looks good. Add water dish. Also, make sure there is enough substrate so it can burrow. If you get a smaller scorp, I would recommend downsizing the enclosure

Misting a couple times a day as well as pouring water into the substrate seems a bit excessive to me. If that is what it takes to keep the substrate moist (not soggy) then you either have the temperature way too high or there is too much ventilation, or a combination of those. It looks like you have a screen mesh lid, I would recommend covering most of it with plastic wrap to keep the humidity from escaping.

Looks like a 5 star hotel !
Limit ventilation to retain the high humidity level.
Make sure there is a bath that fits the scorpion.
Don't forget to order/buy springtails to accompany the scorpion.
Springtails if you buy a juvenile scorpion, optionally isopods if it's a adult scorpion.

I should've mentioned that i only poured water into the drainage layer at the start when i realised it was a bit dry. i don't plan to do this more often tho because it's a bit of effort.

i haven't turned the heat mats on yet and my room is pretty cold and dry all the time, i've also covered the top mesh lid (with my notebooks lol) so there's not much ventilation nor heat. i'm guessing it's just the dry coldness of my room that affects it. but i'll swap out my notebooks for plastic wrap instead tomorrow and see how it goes! thank you!

Already have little springtails in there haha! Does it matter if it's spring tails accompanying adult scorpion tho? i'm guessing not to use isopods with juveniles because the isopods will eventually turn into food instead of cleaners paha

also thank you very much! :))
