They the ones that roll it in a banana leaf to sqeeze out all the juice into a pan, and fry with eggs?... That looked so good.
Just regular pet store-bought crickets? I gotta try that!I ate fried crickets once, they were yummy (and i felt like a tarantula lol) the recipe is very easy for anyone who wants to know cause i know we all have crickets and its time for our Ts to start sharing
Ingredients:
Olive Oil
Soy sauce
Sesame seeds
Crickets
Simmer a solution of 1 part soy sauce and 4 parts olive oil in a shallow dish on medium to high heat, throw in a good portion of sesame seeds. Then toss in crickets (preferably with thier heads cut off, but i was told this isn't necessary and you can fry em live, and i find them easier to deal with dead) Let them cook until brown and crispy, stirring occasionally. This takes about 30 seconds to 1 min. eat with hot sauce. Very good source of protien![]()
yup, just make sure your keeping em clean, and i've also heard it's good to feed em for a few days potatoes to build starch.Just regular pet store-bought crickets? I gotta try that!
