Tearful Goodbye

My daughter's first spider, a male T. blondi, will be leaving tomorrow to go on a "love tour". This is her moment to say goodbye to "Ben". She is upset that he is leaving, but she understands why and is hopeful that he will be successful in his travels.

I hope she gets Tons of little baby Ben's and Bennets.
The twins looked at the picture and said. "Aaaaaw she has Such a sweet baby! I hope he makes a GOOD daddy."

I explained to them that her spider baby was going to find a "wife" and they send their Best wishes and Lotsa hugs to your little girl.
