I'm going to Thailand in january-mars and I'm going to try to find a few goodlooking T's. Does anyone what tarantulas species that occur in the south part besides H lividum and H albostriatum?

Perhaps a few Chilobrachys sp., Phlogiellus sp. and Haplopelma "aureopilosum"

Thank's Lelle! Do you know the rules regarding export of inverts in Thailand? I know that it's legal to collect in most parts of Malaysia and I've heard that's the way in Thailand as well besides in specific nature reserves and other protected areas.

I dont know the laws regarding collecting, but you need export license if you wanna take animals with you.
Contact the thai embassy in Stockholm, they should be able to give you a better answer.

I'm living in Thailand. I think most of this area has Haplopelma sp.[/I] except for lividium and albostriatum, also includes H. minax (Thailand Black Tarantula). From I see in Thai Pet market, they sell H. lividium and H. minax mostly. From one enthusiast, who try to dig Tarantula in every province in Thailand, got Haplopelma sp. mostly.
