Newly-acquired juvenile female A. geniculata tackling a large locust. Already I'm amazed by the well-known feeding response. Truly impressive! 💪 IMG-20240907-WA0006~2.jpg

Very thoughtful of the manufacturer to make those vent holes the perfect size to fit a mini mealworm through...

Y. diversipes "Drama Queen" will tell you it was an epic struggle to subdue the thrashing beast...

Yeah, I crushed its head first, but it was still wiggling a bit, to be fair.

Ohhh, that is pretty convenient! I might become a mealworm guy yet. Never thought of that.

The little ones took over my cricket bin after hitchhiking in on the big box pet store crickets. I have to say, it's been very useful with slings. P. ecclesiasticus "Spot" agrees too!

H. pulchripes checks the webbing for potentially teared off pieces shortly after taking down a roach vigorously.

My lighter colored M. balfouri having her first meal post molt.

This glory hole method looks very practical indeed, I feed roaches and cricks to my Ts almost exclusively but I'll definitely give it a try if I happen to get some mealworms.

Indeed, it saved me from opening the lid and ripping up the webbing when I suspect this one might only need one more meal before the next molt.

Massive respect for this tiny sling. It's been refusing the mini mealworms -- not enough fun, apparently -- and this was the smallest cricket in the bin.

This lil Tapi chased it down and caught it like a pro.

Had an awkward time dragging it back to the burrow though.
