"The websites also said that Tarantulas found around houses aren't necessarily dangerous and wouldn't carry any venom. Excuse me, but how does the Tarantula know if their home is going to stay "nature" or become a housing community? When they see houses start to be built, they think, "Oh, people are going to move in so let me get rid of all my venom..."
Honestly, some people. It's funny when people are like oh my goodness and all this when most of us can turn around right now and see a whole bunch of "gross spiders". And that one guy that Mad Hatter quoted, saying can you believe people keep these as pets....he should be punched, haha. Oh well, I'm sure these real estate agents don't know there's a whole community of people making fun of them right now. And would prefer the company of tarantulas to them.
Wow that is amazing... To think I use to sound like that... I never said EWW YUCKY!! But did scream like a little girl and run... HAA not no more!! I have faced my fears and these little guys are awesome!!
Well DUH I thought EVERYONE knew tarantulas can jump 10 feet. Did you know that they can even shoot and wrap you up in webbing from up to 17.5ft? They can also spray venom from their fangs up to 30 feet away with pin point accuracy so be careful.
Nope no videos.. Thank God!! I can show you how most of my buddys act around my T's one day if I am thinking about it.. But I wont do it long enough to hurt them. Sooo I might not soo I can keep the stress on down..
I have this one friend who is such a sissy that he won't even step into my reptile room. Even when the girl he's trying to impress is in the room looking at all my animals, he refuses to come in because he's arachnaphobic.
Talk about appearing masculine in front of the girl you like
Hey now, you have to be able to understand where they're coming from. Keeping arachnids is a genuinely uncommon practice. Most people just can't see why we love them so much.
I actually just emailed her and corrected her slight misconceptions (in a very nice way, of course).
