So what are your thoughts on playing music in the same room as you keep your T's?

I have recently noticed that my C.cyaneopubescens who is normally quite shy comes out roaming like she is looking for the party! Is this just due to the vibrations?

Could this mean she is distressed?

The rest of them including my 5yr old G. Rosea don't seem to mind but i guess she is used to it by now!

What are your experiences has anyone else noticed this behavior?

My Ts are all kept in my bedroom, and they share the same wall as my TV. I've only had one occasion where a particularly loud and sudden sound on my TV spooked a single T back into his burrow. Aside from that one time, everyone seems pretty unphased by any noise or music whatsoever.

In your case, it sounds like your tarantula probably is responding to the vibrations. But whether it be because she's distressed or looking for the source of the vibration thinking that it might be food, I can't tell you.

As long as the music is not too loud, and you don't place the tarantula right by a speaker, it should be fine. (None of my tarantulas seems bothered by music played at a comfortable volume.)

In before someone makes a joke about the legendary pinktoe who loves the bass guitar:
