There's nothing funny about this situation!It brings bad press to our hobby and is not good at all!Ive heard a lot of rumours about a certain dealer in California involved with smuggling so perhaps they will be getting in trouble soon to :X

i never knew that the brachypelma sp. were protected... so i guess most of the slings to juvie brachypelmas in the hobby are CB?

out of curiosity, does anyone know specifically what sp. of tarantulas are endangered?

Yeah, Brachypelma slings and juvies are likely CB. Even the stuff coming here from Germany (or anywhere in Europe) is likely CB, considering the Brachys are from Mexico.

Didnt think about it that way I was just thinking about someone doing something stupid and getting caught.....
