I think the heat in my room might have dried her out during the cold season. Would a humidifier help prevent that?
It could, but if it has access to water it should handle that with drinking. A B.smithi should be fine with in a drier environment with water.

what do you mean by cold season? my collection is kept 70-80 all the time, no need for seasons. i wouldnt bother with a humidifier, i keep some pretty moisture loving species and have never touched a humidifier. your T is at the size where i would keep it bone dry with a decent size water dish. it doesnt have to be huge, but large enough where it doesnt completely evaporate within a day. keep it away from heat vents and all manner of localized heat, heat mat, heat lamp, even space heaters. i keep my Ts at least 6-10feet away to prevent the water dish drying out quickly. now, is she moving weird? is she kind of jerking and spazing out when you prod her? if so, she might be poisoned.

Yeah, its very odd for a T to dehydrate if it has fresh water close at hand. How quickly did the water in it's dish evaporate? That can give you a decent idea of how hot and dry it is. Did it have any other source of heat? Heat mat, etc?

No heat mat. The only source of heat in my room is vent which my Ts are kept away from as it is also under my window.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It's always painful and difficult to lose one of our little friends.
