This is sort of in the same vein as what the OP asked, but on several occasions I've observed my mature female T albopilosum catch her prey, kill it, place it on the substrate, and do a little web dance over it. A few minutes later she'll pick it back up and resume eating it. I haven't observed any of my other Ts do this!

We call it a "Happy Dance"..its to keep the prey item clean and is 100x more common for spider keepers to witness then a spider drinking water.
