Has tarantula been synonymized with Phrynus? Hence T.marginemaculata of Florida would now be P.marginemaculata?

The most recent behavioral publications use Phyrnus, so I would guess it has been synonomized.

Yup. Used to be Tarantula. Weird huh? The Phrynus/Tarantula name polemic is one of the longest lasting polemics in zoological nomenclature.
